Whats up everyone:

Everytime i hit the smallest little bump, I hear this really loud clicking, almost like someones cocking a shotgun. It actually happens the smaller the bumps, then when I hit bigger ones. Nevertheless, it clicks on ANY bump.. what is it, and what kind of cost am I looking at? Btw, Im in Jersey, so if anyone knows a good place to get this done at, I'd appreciate that as well.

CV boots gone bad... look for grease around your axel

 

yeah, i'm thinking cv joints too.....try driving in an area such as a parking lot and turn your wheel all the way like you want to drive around in a circle and listen for the clicking.

 

Yea.. It makes the clicking while Im turning the steering wheel fully.. CV joints.. how much is that gonna run me?! anyone have an idea?

Raxles.com has new ones or you can get rebuilt ones from places like AutoZone. I got mine done with rebuilt ones for about $230 with parts and labor at a shop.

 

Clicks on bumps might be the upper strut mount, the strut itself, lower control arm bushings or sway bar end ling bushings, or the spring coils hitting one another.

The best way to figure it out is to take the suspension out and inspect it.
