ypipe reset?

Is it really necessary to reset the ecu after a ypipe install? Does anyone know how long it usually takes for the car to readjust to the new exhaust flow?

20-30 miles or so, i dont think it would take that much, just get down to the ecu and reset it, it takes all of about 20 seconds

Resetting the ECU, as we call it, only clears error codes. It does nothing to the operating parameters stored inside. Your cars ECU will adjusted to your new Y pipe as soon as you drive it.

thanks for the 411 guys. I'll just drive it and see what happens. I really didn't feel like unhooking my battery and reprogramming all of my stations.
