If you want to stop the creaks and rattles of your dash.....

use cloth rim tape. A few weeks ago I used some to stop the extra noise that come with a dropped Max and it works wonders. Just cut small pieces and apply them to the areas of contact and that's it.

This is what the tape should look like........



I tried using foam in the past and the foam doesn't stick correctly at times.

yeah got one thats been driving me nuts for about 2years.. self inflicted though. passenger a-pillar .. where did you get that stuff ? an auto parts store?

I don't know what hockey tape is but if its cloth with a sticky backing, you can probably use it too.

I was expecting the first post to say something along the lines of "buy a BMW" heh. Anyone know how to take apart the pillar that the front seat belts reside in (a-pillar?), thats where most of my rattles are coming from.

what do you mean apply them? just stick it under the door panels or something? please be more specific. I thnk we all have some or little rattles and creaks.

I said in my first post to apply them to the areas of contact. That could be anywhere in your car. Mine were in the stereo pod.
