STupid Question: Are the Addco and Progress RSB the same??

I would have searched, but its not working right now. And I couldn't get any results on the new test site either.

Anyway, I'm looking for an RSB (coming to the States <Boston> next week, so I'll have it shipped there). The Progress RSB seems to be quite cheap, so I'm thinking of going for that. I wanted to know if it was good quality RSB and if it had good fitment. I hope it doesn't thunk when I go over bumps!

Also, is it just a rebadged Addco RSB (which I have heard good things about)?

Thanks

yes, both of them serves the function therefore its the samething. also as well as those FSTB on ebay.

definetly recommend RSB for suspension upgrade. it kills a lot of body-roll.

Progress RSB is very similar to Addco, but it is not the same. I like the Progress because: 1/ The bar is black so it is inconspicuous. Addco's bar is chrome. 2/ The trailing arm bracket is very strong and distributes the grip on the arm much better. The Addco has a flimsy u-bolt. Note: Not sure if Addco has changed their bracket design recently or not. 3/ The bushings are polyurethane. Addco maybe rubber.

I have the Progress RSB and am happy. If you buy the Progress RSB, be aware that the hardware kit may be missing 4 x 3/8" washers. Test fit everything before installing.

I have the metallic grey Progress RSB.
Only problem I had was installing the bigger stronger brackets over the ABS line bracket that runs along the trailing arm of the car. But I found a way around it. It's been installed and working fine for several months now.
Some pics are available on my cardomain site.

Is it ok to get a RSB with a lowered suspension(approx. 2 inches)? I thought I remember someone saying it wasnt good to get. Can anyone clarify this for me?

RSTB don't do much since there is the (supportive) metal behind the rear seat, but I have one for looks.

I'm conteplating between a Progess RSB for $119 USD from CustomMaxima.com and a set of KYB AGX + Progress Springs for $550 USD from Cattman.com.

There's a pretty big difference between $119 and $550, especially when to convert to Canadian dollars (I'm Canadian). Plus, with winter just around the corner, I dunno if its wise to lower the car now. I'm thinking I'll do that next summer.
