Typically 370-400 miles per usable tank (16.5/17 gallons), on 50/50 city/highway = 24mpg usually; goes up to 30mpg+ on all highway.

No performance mods, stock wheels & suspension, and....it's an automagic!

Check the total mileage in my sig.

Call us lazy but not stupid
instead of just asking how many miles per tank, the thread should be miles per half a tank...correct?

been anywhere from 22 to 29 depending on the season and highway vs. city. I'm doin around 24-25 with 10 minute commutes on 87 octane now here at school, so that works just fine for me! BTW my car is running jsut fine on the cheap stuff. No knocking, no lack of power. Just cant afford to keep puttin in gas thats $2.00+ per gallon while I'm a poor college student

Pardon my ignorance as I am new to the forum. I found that when I filled up for the first time, it only took 15.0 gal with it completely full. I'm supposed to have 18.5 gas tank and the needle was just hitting the E. So looks like I'll have to go way past the E after the fuel light comes on, to get the other 3.5 gal and see how many miles per tank I can possibly get.

So my question is... when do you refill your tank? Do you go past the E?

i think part of the problem might be ur driving styles, especially for 5 speed guys. usually when im driving around town this is how my shifts go

1 - 2 @ 2000 rpm 0 mph to 15 mph
2 - 3 @ 2000 rpm 15 mph to 25 mph
3 - 4 @ 1500 rpm 25 mph to 30 mph
4 - 5 @ 1500 rpm usually around 30 mph and up im in 5th

Anyone posting your miles per tank should put in how many gallons you added at your last fillup. Some people fill just before the light comes on or just after and that makes a difference. You can check your mileage at any point from nearly full to completely empty. "Miles per tank" is meaningless.

wow, grand ma shifting to the fifth power. Thats probably why. Here are how my ****s are recently

1 - 2 @ 4500 rpm 0 mph to 20 mph
2 - 3 @ 3500 rpm 20 mph to 40 mph
3 - 4 @ 3000 rpm 40 mph to 55 mph
4 - 5 @ 3000 rpm usually around 60 mph and up im in 5th

changes depending on street and how i feel but i've felt the urg to slowly get on first, then just push it and do a semi-hard shift into second just to feel the power.

if i shift like that i won't get more than 275 to "tank" as some of you like to put it.... so that might be why

true....i always thought shifting that low might do engine/transmission damage since you barely going fast enough to shift...
