I loved my JIC's.. Had my ride with no finger gap. Set on 10/9 on the stiffness.. There was absolutely no noise when you turned or went over bumps. Ride was nice and smooth. But since I dropped it soo much and was on a high setting you can feel the bumps. But I like a stiff ride anyways. You can always slam the car and set the settings to like 7/7 which is average..

The car can probably go down another 2" to 2.5", but then the camber plate would be riding on the bump stops.
1 Asian finger gap in the front
0 finger gap in the rear
No noise at all, you will need to preload to springs as mentioned... just don't preload it too much.
Stiff at 10/10. That setting is not for the faint of heart.
Yes, rough over minor bumps, but a HUGE difference over bigger bumps. The ride feels almost like stock over big bumps and dips.

What is your front wheel gap?
Do you get any noise while turning?
Any bouncing feeling on rough roads?
Is it rough over bumps?
What is your soft/hard setting on front and rears?
add anything else you feel like adding

From the "other" forum:
"Preload the springs so that they won't move when you push and pull them, but don't preload so much that the springs are seriously compressed."
assuming you adjusted the strut body so the car is at a height you're happy with when lowered.
1) Turn spring perch up until it touches the spring... keep turning until the spring hits the camber plates
2) Keep turning until the spring doesn't move when you give it a good budge. Maybe ~3 full turns or so?
3) Repeat on other side.

The only true way to figure out the height is to test your adjustments.

Nope... you adjust the height with the strut body. That's because you want to have the most suspension travel as possible. Believe me, you will not need to lower the car via adjusting the spring perch. I even had to raise the car up because I over did the lowering on the strut bodies. If I jack the car up off the ground, the wheel gap is about 2-4 fingers.

keving beat me too it.
Sprint, you adjust the part that is attached behind the brake with the 2 bolts. Undo those 2 bolts and start spinning that bottom piece around till you get the height you want.
Right below the lower red adjustment thingie.

Think about it this way, the more threads you see, the higher your car will be.

mad late:
1) 2 finger
2) I get an occasional pop or too but I think its my axles that keep coming loose for some reason. (doing this before the JICs...)
3) If the dips and bumps are deep enough it will kinda bounce, but I think i still need to adjust them. (too lazy)
4) On really hard bumps it doesnt seem to abosrb much. The impact transfers straight into the cabin. But it still maintains control. (again I may need an adjustment.
5) Currently on 13 Front/11 Rear. Its pretty stiff but for some reason its comparable to my old cattmans gen IIs so Im good......

i will slam mine all the way when they get here this weekend.. as low as they will go, once i figure out all the adjustment factors you will see them bottomed out.

"In the ghetto
People, don't you understand
the child needs a helping hand
or he'll grow to be an angry young man some day
Take a look at you and me,
are we too blind to see,
do we simply turn our heads
and look the other way
Well the world turns
and a hungry little boy with a runny nose
plays in the street as the cold wind blows
In the ghetto
And his hunger burns
so he starts to roam the streets at night
and he learns how to steal
and he learns how to fight
In the ghetto..."
P.s. I have one too.

The neighborhood is safe, but extra protection doesn't hurt. The few extra minutes it takes to break the door down will give me enough time to find a bat.
