What is your front wheel gap?
Do you get any noise while turning?
Any bouncing feeling on rough roads?
Is it rough over bumps?
What is your soft/hard setting on front and rears?

1.5 finger gap all the way around, 25.25 inches to the top of the wheel well

Occasionally I will get a popping noise when I back into parking spots, but I believe that it is the spring getting bound up and releasing. I hope it isn't CV joints already, I will let time tell.

No, bouncing is kept to a minimum. Alot more noticeable than stock but not unbearable especially for the quality of product, and how well it performs.

Yes, it is rough over bumps. If you hit a pothole you cringe because it sounds like you car was just droppped out of a plane. But nothing outrageous. It took a little getting used to but now I don't even notice. I just made a 500 mile trip to Jacksonville, FL on all concrete roads and it wasn't too bad. You will definetly know where every imperfection in the road is.

I have mine set at 12 all the way around. I used to have it on 4 and I got too much bounce. 10 is a good setting but I wanted to go to 12 just for the hell of it, and i ended up leaving it.


BTW I have JIC FLT A2. I have had them on my car since Feb. 03 and I still haven't got any pics. hopefully I can get some this week. I will try really hard, I don't have a dig. camera but some of my friends due, and it is just a matter of tracking them down.

no pics uploaded yet...but 0 finger gap in the rear..and 1 1/2 finger gap in the front (used to have ninja bumper, needed extra height due to front lip extension). No noise, not really any bouncing, set to 6 6.. used to be 10 10. I find they are very friendly on the street. 10 10 was just a little stiff. But to each their own. Flt A2's here.

 

as for noise...if you lower it via the bracket that bolts onto your hub system you wont get noise. HOWEVER, if you lower the spring ( also cutting supsension travel down) when the car rises up, the spring will become unloaded thus when the car comes back down, it makes noise.

 

I have mine set at 10 all around, it seems perfect for me. I have a 40 minute drive daily to and from school and so far its been just fine. I'm lowered with just about 1 finger gap in the front and 1.5 or so in the rear. They do make some noise but I think with ANY lowered car some bumps will get your suspension to make some kind of sound every once in a while. I can say this my coilovers are far less noisey than my old Tein setup on my Prelude. I hope that helps...any further questions just let me know.

Yes, but not very much and it has to be a rather sharp turn. Like I told Sprint, you may be getting excessive noise due to the red adjuster rings working there way loose. This happened to me and I had tons of noise while I was turning. I tightened them up really well and now the majority of the noise has subsided.

Not really. They drive right through the bumps instead of bouncing like GC/AGX combo.

Yes and no. Compared to GC/AGX no, but yes I feel bumps but not nearly as bad as the GC's. You just get used to it and now I dont really even notice them unless its some giant bump or something.

i have still yet to see anyone lower the jics all the way down to see how low they go... the look as though they will go as low as the car can go before the wheels hit inside the fenders or the car lays out.... but no one has tried or taken any pictures..! can someone with jics spin the sleeve all the way down and snap some pictures?? none of this wheel gap nonsense.

 

I would but then I would have to go get my car realigned, if you will fund that then I will do it for you. Cost around 60 bucks.

 

if you mark where your car sits now.. slam it all the way down and then raise it back to where it was marked, you won't need an alignment; hence how i could get 1 alignment on my air ride setup at daily driving height and not have to realign after slamming the car daily.

 

I would take pics of my car slammed the whole way but its some what of a pain to adjust these things. I must say that my old Teins on my Prelude were a bit easier to adjust. Anyhow maybe when I put my new wheels on I will take some pics and post them up.

I am a perfectionist and when I had to send them off to get them worked on, I marked where everything was and once i got them returned I set it back to my marks and installed it. I took my car to a friend of mine who does alignment and it was out beyond the specs. It might be different with the air suspension (more accurate to reset). But I know that, like everyone is saying, it isn't any fun to adjust these things back and forth. Sorry bro, I wish I could help

jason if you look at the pic of the front installed, you can pretty much move the lower part or the spring to lessen the amount of thread between them. So in other words I am almost positive that you would be able to tuck pretty well with these slammed all the way. Only reason I say almost positive is because I havent done it.

 

basically it consists of how big the shock is inside and how low it can possibly go down.. most of them arent made to go all the way down the sleeve is why i ask. i would like to have a set of my own to play with but id rather go the custom route to guarrantee the lowest thing possible. nitrous filled springs, incredibly short strut and such will warrant driving around tucking tire and being able to tuck rim whenever i want.

if anyone doesnt mind making a sat of lowering their car, i'd love to see it
