I have a DVD player in my PC. I bought a DVD to watch and it won't play. I can open the folder to the DVD and play individual scenes, but I thought when I put it in the machine it would boot up and play. Do I need a program to run the DVD movie in my PC even thought I had a DVD player?

if your comp came with a dvd it should have the program for it. if its just the drive install the disk that came with it. if no disk search for the maker website and download it
