help with door!

ok so my friend ended up locking my keys inside my car when he was grabbing something out of it really quick, i went to the cop across the street and when he was using the slimjim to try and pick the lock the metal insert fell out of the rubber handle INSIDE my door, now it constantly rattles whenever i open/shut the door and whenever i have loud music, its annoying as hell...what would be the best way to go about easily removing this slimjim?? thx for any help ya can give me

hahah that's funny actually

what did the cop say afterwards?? I can imagine him just shrugging his shoulders and walking away. At least now you have a slim jim for free.

Go to the police station, and tell them you want THEM to get it out. And make sure the cop who did it is there with a bunch of his buddies. His buddies will rag him for days. That's only if you like cheap thrills.
A lot of departments have policies against using entry tools on citizen's cars because of potential liabilities like this (exceptions are made if a kid is in the car, etc...). Especially if it's a new car with side airbags. It's cheaper just to bust a rear quarter window on those.
