new headlight harneses

new headlight harneses

I went and bought new higher performance headlight harnesses b/c i was running NAXOS bulbs and they melted my stock harnesses..so to install them do i just need to cut off the old harness and attach the new ones, or am i way wrong..any help please..someone please point me to the right direction

thats what I did, cut off the old harness and SOLDER on the new harness in its place.

i dont have a soldering iron man , would those little crimp things work, where you put one wire in and then the other wire in , and clamp down, theres metal inside the little tube..you knwo what i mean..would this work..or is it unsafe

it will work but but I still prefer soldering it since its a much better connection and more protection from corrosion.

I agree with Nismo. Solder it. And use heat shrink tubing to cover the splice job.
