Took a few pictures yesterday....

Just wanted to swing in and say hello. I bought my '99 Maxima a few months ago and couldn't be happier with the car. Not too many mods yet but I think that will soon change. I plan on getting a y-pipe for sure and then maybe an intake. Who knows after that.

Not exactly a lot of Maxima's where I live which is cool because it kind of stands out.

Anyway check out my pics and give me some feedback. I could always use some pointers.

I like the wheels and the spring/shock combo. I would trim the tape off the door pillars and let the Pebble Beige show through. That would look nice too.

Thanks for the comments guys. I was tossing around the idea of trimming the tape off, but i'm just not sure how it would look with my color.

if you do take off the pillar tape, take some pics. I think it might look off since beige is a light color and the beige pillars will stand out against the darker windows

It's an automatic. I'm getting old, tired of shifting all the **** time.

Nice Max William. It does look pretty good pealed off. Maybe that will be my weekend project.

You got valid point. Im still stumped on what to do with mine, get the auto built to hell, or get a 5spd Im not gonna worry about it for now though. Im not boosted...yet

Just downloaded your soundclips. Very impressive. I think now I will order a b-pipe the same time I order a y-pipe. Better to do it all at once, I guess.

Which goes back to your original point of wanting to spend too much on mods.

Boost..hmmm..

Looks like the mod bug somewhat bit you be4 you even joined. Wait til you see what other mods you can get Your gonna want the JDM intake manifold thats for sure. At redline your gonna gain apprx 40-50 or so hp. The gain it only from 5300rpms on up but you'll feel it! The y-pipe and b-pipe combo will give you atleast 10more at the wheels. Dont let the auto tranny limit your mods, some1 here is runnin low 12s on the stock tranny

Well...its almost stock. All that he has done is a bypass switch with causes the tranny to shift at full line pressure (340psi)
It causes the tranny to shift EXTREMLY hard! If you go wot in 1st, and let off around say 4-5K it will slam into 2nd so hard it feels like your dash is gonna come apart
It does however cause the tranny fluid to heat up faster since its under so much pressure so its not a good idea to have it in that mode all the time.

Oh almost 4got, its JIME.
