Well....if money isn't an issue I'd trade up for a 01 Pathfinder....much more refinded. BUT if you want that xterra get it! They deff. improved any weak areas the truck had. They gave it minor face lift(family unity.....looks like the frontier now) keep the sides and rear the same. The S/C engine is not as nice as the 3.5 in the pathfinder but you have that engine now. If you don't mind how your pathfinder sounds then you won't care about this. The Xterra should be significantly quicker than your PF cuz its already lighter and add 40hp I like the 300w sound system.

I hope that nasty blue doesnt make production. Its not a "new" xterra, its the same old one with a s/c and new headlights. There was no way Nissan was going to create a new one, the current one is still one of the most badass things on the road. I like the old headlights better though. The fit the car better. If I wanted an xterra, id get a 2k, and put the s/c on. I love the old (not really) xterra better.

My dad was thinking about getting one of those but he read some reviews and they said it had an extremely rough ride. Has anyone been in one? Did Nissan do anything about this for 2002?
