I'm assuming you all know Nissan have computer chips in our original master key that activates the car when we put the key in. So, you would need to bring that key to have it programmed by a Nissan Dealer before you can use it. (Assuming its got a chip in it)

Only 99 and later Maximas have chips in the keys.

i'm still waiting for the nismo key to come down in price. i can't see myself paying $55 for a key.

the sad part is that i need it, i have the other 3 parts (oil, gas & radiator cap by nismo).

Personally, i THINK that key looks cheap. Look at the nissan symbol. Its all jacked up. The hamburger is out of shape. Not to mention the word FOR above it.

My brother gave me one of those for my birthday. $20 sounds like too much. Doubt he'd spend that much on me.

No doesn't appear to have a chip in it so it wouldn't work on '99 or later. To be honest I haven't looked at it all that close. It's still in the box. I haven't decided which car to cut it to match.

That's one ugly key. YUCK! It says "For NISSAN". Definitely go for a Nismo or Nissan GTR key. I'd go for the Nismo though. If you just want a replacement key. Get them from Ange. www.redlinemax.com
