GM Autoshow in Motion: '04 Max SE
Finally got to drive an '04 Maxima.
Impressions: car handled incredibly (18s with great tires) and accelerated nicely (18s didn't help), even with 4 people in it.
My domestic-loyal friends said this car is now at the top of their lists, impressed with the power, its smoothness, luxury, handling, size. Their beloved GTP didn't stand a chance.
The only complaints were with the touch-screen...difficult to read in direct sun, and it seemed that the tranny was slow to down shift...dunno if that's normal or dependent on the weight we were carrying.
