Okay, is there anyone in the Delaware, PA, MD, So NJ area that could possibly lend a hand to a fellow Max owner? What do I need a hand with??? Good question...I plan on, in the next few months, replacing springs/struts, possibly exhaust, and both front axles, and I shake when I think of how much it will cost me in labor even at my regular shop ($300 just for the suspension). So I guess I'm just looking for someone, who knows what they are doing, that could lend me a hand on one or two occasions. What would be even better would be someone who has a lift, or knows someone who has a lift that could be used for a day or half a day, either for free, or for a small fee. I pretty much know what I'm doing, I've just never done it, and I'd rather not do it in my driveway. I will if I have to, but I'd rather have someone there that knows exactly what to do. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not cheap, and I could afford the labor, but there is a satisfaction in DIY jobs that can't be matched (unless your car ends up FUBAR). Also, it would make it so that I can knock it out sooner since I wouldn't have to save up for an extra couple hundred. If anyone can help, I would be most greatful, and it probably will be November before I do it.
