I wanted to know what kind of clutch do you guys recommend for a 99 Maxima. I saw the ACT clutch. They have so any different flavors, Im not sure which to pick. I would appreciate any suggestions.

Clutch masters has one of the nicest feels for everyday use. CM stage 5 feels like a ACT stage 1. As close to OEM feel as you can get with goin to nissan. Just my opinion though

I just had an ACT put in a week ago and have driven 1000 miles on it. MUCH better than stock, grips the **** out of gears. The only drawbacks might be the price, 500 mile break in period and it takes alot to get used too.

If you want a 'higher performance' clutch, either get the ACT HDMM Stage 1 Street Clutch, or the Exedy Stage 1 Clutch. You wont find either for under $250.

If you prefer the stock feel and dont have plans for boost or anything like that, or racing, just get a stock clutch replacement. Exedy makes a kit, along with LUK, there is also the OEM Nissan, just make sure you do NOT get the Key Value kit, you will know the difference because the Key Value comes as one big kit, while the other one you will have to order the parts individually.

You also might want to get a Fidanza lightweight flywheel, you will get quicker revs, harder pulling, and there have been reports of good gas savings. Jeff92SE sells them.
