anyone have ionic breeze in the car?

my max has this wierd lingering smell that i can't get rid of. it doesn't stink or anything...it's just there. was wondering if that ionic breeze thing by sharper image really works. does anyone have one in their max? if so, does it work well to get rid of odors?

Have you tried vaccuuming or steaming? That usually works for me when the car smells not so fresh.

yeah i try to vaccuum once every 2 weeks or whenever it's dirty. haven't tried steaming yet. i think it's the result of that massive flood houston experienced when tropical storm alison went through here. pretty sure my carpet got wet from all the flooding. my dad was still driving the max then.

I bought one recently. I double checked the return policy when I bought it, I will be returning it. I can't tell if it has done a thing, it doesn't seem like it.... for $40 its not worth it.

I recommend picking up a can of Ozium from ur local auto store for like $5 and spraying it into the intake ducts located between your windshield and your hood.....make sure the a/c is set to "on" and "high" speed.....

spray for like 2 min, let car run with windows open and a/c on high for like 5-10min..repeat if necessary

well, it sure as hell doesn't work anywhere else (i've had them in each room in my house at times over the last few years)....maybe will for the car since it's a small and enclosecd space but you can't like, blow smoke right at it and expect it to magically whisk the smell away....
