you should really do yourselves a favor and get some Philips Vision Plus bulbs...

http://www.eur.lighting.philips.com/...s_vp_feat.html

They are not a gimik, you really do get more lights. Those that like to be seen rather than see need not apply, it's not blue. What it is however is the best damn light bulb you can get for an automotive head light(well H7 is really... but close enough.)

The site claims that the bulbs are not yet available in the USA... Are there any places to get them?

Thanks, Shing!

By the way, what's the deal with you and bulbs? I see you're looking for cool blues, yet you also state that you now want to see, rather than have color. You also posted that "Rice Bulbs" link, and also post a lot about HID conversions. I think this makes you sort of a bulb expert, but what do you really prefer? Or is it that you have been trying/testing every bulb for your FAQ?

Thanks for the link, bulbman

hahaha... well here's the deal.
I am looking for cool blues in H3 for the fogs. The PIAA superwhite H3s are actually REALLY bright. But they have short life. One of mine is burnt. I don't wnat to spend some $20+ for 1 bulb. So I was looking around for more. I changed back to OEM, but they don't do a darn thing now I have the Philips bluevuision. I am actually thinking about getting some Sylvania XtraVision... it's the VisionPlus' competition... VP does not come in 9004, but XV does.

See after driving my crx with OEM 9006, I started to hate the lights on the max... after the HID conversion.. man, it's all over. I was hoping that maybe the CB H3s would be bright too... so I could get those. *shrug*... I just wanna see.. cause I drive at night a lot... heh.

I am thinking about getting some Philips Rally lights... only comes in H4 and H3.. well basically all the Hs and 9005/6. these things are pretty bad ****. But one of my fog lens already cracked from using OEM bulb. so man... this suck.

The last thing that I am thinking about doing is this. Hella is coming out with some projector housings. These are universal ones. Cost about $100 each for non HID versions. that price comes with lights and housing.. mounting you have to figure out. so even if I got 4(2 high 2 low), that's $400, I can custom a housing and aI know I will be able to see a lot better....

*sigh*... 9004... did you know that it was develope for US only? No other country uses it. Well I think maybe North American cars... anyways... I donno. sucks.

Is there ANY site that actually shows a comparison grid that includes the various models of aftermarket bulbs, their color temp and their output in lumens/candlepower?

All the sites I've seen are either promoting the brand of bulb or describe the differences between the marketing terms and type of lighting.

Thanks

They seem really BLUE, not even close to a perfect WHITE.
Thanks shing.
