Denso Iridium Spark Plugs?

i was talking to my friend the other day about my sh*tty gas milage and he suggested i get Denso Spark Plugs and i have no idea if its worth the 70 bucks to get them for my 00 Max. i have 38k on my car right now....and he said it would improve my gas milage and overall performance of the car. But im still not too sure if its worth it to buy. Any suggestions/comments would help thanks.

P.S. Or should i juss get NGK or is Denso that much better?

Also, have you done your 30k maintenence?
Don't forget the fuel filter.

And how bad is your mileage anyway?

and to top it off a different plug is not going to give u better gas mileage, thats a bunch of bs. they may help a little, but other things will most likely help along with plugs, and definately go with ngk!

NGK is OK!

I just put NGK Iridiums in my 2000 Max and I can't tell the difference. My car was running great before, and still runs great. They're a good replacement plug, but I think there might be something else wrong with your car. You may have caught some bad gas that partially cogged you injectors. These cars are really touchy what it comes to fuel flow and the type of gas you use

no i havent done my 30k maintenence yet.....so i guess i should just take my car the dealership eh? my milage is about 270-280 MPTank and considering that i drive 50%+ freeway.....i think its **** compared to everyone else who gets 350+. And besides changing the fuel filter is there anything else i should check/change?

Plugs will only make a real difference if you are boosted or running nitrous. The main difference between copper, platinum, and iridium is the life of the plug. If you don't minding changing the plugs and are cheap go with copper. They last about 30K miles. If you want longer lasting plugs go with platinum which last anywhere from 50K to 80K. Iridium are really just a waste of money unless you are boosted since they only last about 30K, and in my case they only lasted 20K.
