Hey guys, what's up - I have a quick question. Just recently (about 4 months ago) i purchased a 2k maxima GLE w/ only 29k miles. Anywayz, I went for an oil change at teh dealership, and they told me i had a crack in my drivetrain belt, so I got it changed. Ever since that day, my car has been making a loud sharp noise till it reaches normal temp when I start it in the mornings. After that its fine - > for the whole day. It was fine BEFORE!!! Is there somethign wrong?

Also, I had taken my car in to the dealersip because of the 1-2 gear delayed shifting, and they did some sort of check with a computer for th etiming, and they said that the gears change in SPEC... but its still the same. I just wanna see how it drives without the DELAY!

Maybe the belt needs a break in time or something?

 

belt might need tightenin

 

did u try to spray some silicone lubricant on it? to you try to increase the tension on hte belt?
