Today I was washing my car when one of the car I always work on pulls up on my drive way. He asked can I check something on his car. Jacked it up and ensure everything was fine. After lowering it down, he says" take me to the DYNO!". I replied sure. Took him to the dyno and this is what he dynoed 177.1 hp and 187lbs of Torque. Keep in mind this car is NA, and has no MEVI. Almost forgot we dynoed in 4th gear first. Then we dynoed in 3rd gear again and the numbers went higher. The dyno guy said go back to 4th and we did and the numbers just kept on jumping higher I was so happy to see the numbers just go higher and higher. I was very anxious to dyno my **** with the turbo @ 9.5 PSI

dyno sheet is below enjoy everyone.

yeh thanx Jay. I was really hoping for 185+ considering Swafford pulled out like 161 hp and 181 tq w just JWT intake. The flywheel helps a ton in every aspect of the car! I'm gonna dyno again in a few months when Jay gets his ride tuned.

he has CAI/UDP/Y and exhaust listed in his profile. These are good numbers, but I wouldn't say it's a factory freak. It would have been really interesting to see a before/after dyno directly testing the flywheel but oh well

That seems pretty normal for those mods.

note: that is a VQ Fidanza on the engine, the VE Fidanza is much thinner/lighter.

Odd. If you copy paste it from .org, it doesn't work. If you copy/paste it from the community webshots, it works fine. Link looks identical but ????

yeah. I think its just something webshots does to prevent people from linking from their site. I updated the link with one that should work from maxima.org.

Those are some good #'s man.

Its funny how some Nissan engines are so overrated (Spec V), and some are underrated, powerwise.

I mean, with just intake, header, and exhaust, an SR20DE is putting 140+ hp to the ground, and that VQ isn't doin to bad itself

YAY NISSAN!

damn hijakers....jk.

No my car is not a factory freak. It is normal. I really think that with a few more pulls we could have gotten 180+hp and 190+tq though because my first pull was like 172 hp and 185 tq, 2nd 175 hp and 186 tq. I let Jay do the last one and that was the best one. What's weird is that the fastest NA max on the org isn't putting out anything special either, it just shows that Dyno #'s aren't as significant when it comes to racing....or maybe it's just the drivers!

Hehe. You can't keep dynoing and continue to get higher numbers

My car dynoed 175HP/186lb.ft TQ bone stock (stock everything right down to rubber... haha). Steve and I had a long discussion on that in the dyno discussion forum.

But then on another dyno machine, with just a y-pipe and b-pipe I dynoed 186HP/197lb.ft TQ. There was another long discussion about that in the dyno forum between Steve and me.

Then of course I got the MEVI and all my numbers plummeted (no JWT ECU yet). So I guess my car WAS a factory freak with the USDM! haha
