Like everything else on my car...I got mine installed at Autogear in Plainfield, NJ. I bought the springs and struts used and had them installed at the same time (this will save you double labor costs). They also have instaled prices on new springs & struts.

You'll need an alignment, too, so don't forget to budget for that.

Midas charged me $250 for the spring install, and

$200 for the shocks install,I think I got ripped off.Have them bolth installed at the same time and save big $$$.Or like the other guy said install them your self only thing is you need to rent a spring compressor and it would be very dangerous if you don't follow the directions proprely, and a royal pain in the *** too.

O my God..

It only took my and a boddy an hour and a half to do my springs and shocks. We used floor jacks and sockets. OYA and a spring depreser. after spending the money to buy them I was not going to pay another 2-300 bucks for install!!

My local performance shop charges $120 for the job if you buy the stuff from them, $170 if you don't. I think it is worth the extra $5 for the springs to save $45 overall.

your installs are soooo high!

Most places up in the Toronto area are like 100$ canadian for an install of 4 springs. (which is like 65$american)
Maxima owners near the states/canada border should consider getting quotes from the north, it may be worth the drive if you can save some sweet cash!

just got some good news

my local shop is going to charge me $150 to put in both the springs and the Koni sport shocks. i'm figuring the Koni fronts are kind of a custom job, so not to bad of a deal. the problem is that the Koni's are $489 plus Tax! we're talking about $800-900 dollares for the f****** total with labor and tax.

as far as alignment, would the Nissan dealership re-align the car for me? some guy told me that most places won't touch a lowered car because you can never really get it aligned properly again.

as far as installing springs and shocks myself, i've heard to many horror stories, plus i'm a lazy college student !
