ABS saved my car today!

its raining and i'm going down springfield ave (local street) and this blue rusty cavalier tries to make a left turn (similar to my first accident that totaled my first max). I was cruising and wasnt going too fast (about 30) but it was also wet/raining. This idiot makes a left turn so quick while i'm so close to intersection (one of those idiots that cant decide whether to go or not until its too late). I FLOOR THE BRAKE and i feel my car still sliding slowly, but getting slower and slower and i JUST miss his back bumper by turning a little to left (there was a car on left lane waiting to turn left. ****ed me off that people are out there to get me!

ABS, u r so good to me. This type of stuff happens when i'm real happy with my car. First time i was real happy (no issues with max) my harnesses killed my ecu cause they were too corroded or something). Now that i'm very happy with my max (meaning sound system, exhaust, look of car in general), something else is out to get me again, NEVER DAMMIT NEVER!!! *knocks on wood*

Anyone else have ABS saving stories?

This past winter I was going about 40 and went to turn to follow the curve of the offramp and I just started to slide... black ice. Hit the brakes and as ABS was banging away, the car slowly started turning to follow the exact path I wanted. If no ABS I definitely would have gone off the road and into some heavy woods at 40mph.

ABS sucks you know. It makes you take longer to stop on dry pavement. I can stop better with my turbofoot. And so can my dog.
