I'm really confused on something here. I was looking at the lights on ebay and it said something about the output wattage being higher than the input wattage. Now what I'm confused about is, will a higher input or output wattage do damage to the wiring harness/light housing?

The bulbs will draw what wattage they were made to >>

Don't take any technical information on Ebay seriously...they are just trying to see stuff.

A 55W bulb will produce 55W of light. Wattage is a measurement of a certain amount of energy over a span of time. If you decide to use overwattage bulbs...be aware that you will need the overwattage upgrade harness.

Output wattage can't be higher than input wattage, watts are power. A different bulb might produce more lumens (a measure of light)per watt and so be said to be equivalent to a conventional bulb of higher wattage. Higher input watt bulbs could damage your wiring harness or headlight relays.
