I dont need no stinkin' PR
I've seen that many of us are wanting to get the upper piece of the PR CAI to use with the Stillen and JWT intakes. So I got to thinkin'...anyway, long story short. I went up the the shop and welded up my own. Works pretty damn good for bein free. I'll post some pics on Friday.
Yep. Hell, I'll make you one for free if you pay for shipping...let me know. I'll have the design finalized by the end of next week. The one I already did is pretty rough and my welds look like crap (although pretty damn good for my first time if you ask me).
That's great that you are making these resonator bypass pieces. I suggest that you charge some moeny for them because it really looks like the Poor Man's CAI is starting to take off. When I bypassed the upper resonator with my HKS intake, the intake sound got much deeper. What are you using to seal the piece to the MAF? If you offered a piece of silcone hose to seal to the MAF and the quality of the piece got better, I'd say you could sell the pieces for about $30. You'd make a killing seeing that PR charges $65 for everything.

And ill take that free piece too. Just tell me how much for shipping.
Ok, I'm working this all out. I'm gonna make a couple more prototypes and do some more re-fitting and I'll let everyone know how the final deal is gonna work by the end of next week.
