I got a pair of Axe II seats off Ebay for $230 shipped to my door. They're okay, but you get what you pay for. There's a bit of play in the seat back and the sliders are pretty stiff. They weigh about 19 lbs. a piece. Had to build my own brackets for the universal sliders.

are any of you guys small enough to use Bride seats? if you read Sport Compact Car's racing seat comparison chart, it says that their seats are designed for the typical japanese man .... 5' tall with a 32" and smaller waist. my brother owned a Bride bucket seat for a short period .... got rid of it tho b/c it was too tight
just my 2cents

not necessarily. leather is more money but doesnt give you a better racing seat.Originally Posted by slammed95

Corbeau A4.
Install was easy, I think we got both seats done in under an hour including removal of the old seats. But the Corbeau's come with Maxima specific brackets, so it was pretty much just line them up and bolt them in. No modifications needed.
Not sure of the cost, it was a sponsorship. I don't even know if Corbeau makes A4's anymore, this was a while back.
Very comfortable seats, but not good for larger people. If your waist is bigger than about a 34", don't get these. I think the CR1's are a little bigger. Much, much more comfortable than the stock seats, I always hated those.

. The whole point of racing seats is to hold you in place, what's the use of putting in slippery leather?
I would like to get the carbon/kevlar Bride seats, but they don't have brackets for us.
Guess you've never driven in this seat. You don't slide...at all. I was throughly impressed with it, and on top of that, it matches my interior perfectly.Originally Posted by slammed95

usually leather racing seats arent shiney, slippery leather. they are bucket style, with thigh support, so you wont slip out.
