Looks like a 2k2 SE goes for 17-18k, which is pretty cheap imho. What's nice about it is you would get the 255 hp and xenons. It's awful for the person who bought it new, but definitely worth considering because you should have a good 1-2 years before needing any serious maintenance. There are even 5 used 2k3's going for "$19,999" at a local dealership. Now we can see why our 4th gens got pushed under 5 figures...at least we get to add $47 to the price for having auto climate control!!

i am noticing more and more 99 SE-Ls going for under 10k. i paid a total of 23k with interest rate, tax, and extended warranty included 4 and a half years ago. that's a dead asset.
it is most def not worth buying a new car unless you're rich. A 2 year old car is the way to go.
