Adding LED's to factory alarm. (4th Gen)

Does anybody have any good write ups or links for adding more leds to the factory alarm led? I saw the one in the 4th gen How to's, but I am looking for a write up on a 4th Gen.

4th gen how to forum has some good ones. There are also all the color LED swaps. here is the general idea, sorry but its shown on a 5th gen...all the wiring ideas are the exact same, part list, etc.
