Check my alignment specs, anything I should adjust?
About 5 months ago I had my H&R, AGX with motivational rear mounts installed. I did not get an alignment because it felt great and I was going to be buying new tires anyway. In 5 months there was no noticeable tire wear problems.
I bought new tires and got an alignment a few weeks ago and now I notice a slight pull to the right and a kind of dead/vague feeling when going straight on the highway. Of course the shop that did the work says everything is fine
I know the only specified adjustment is front toe but I understand you can move the bolts to the edges of the holes to fudge the other adjustments a bit. My specs are below, everything is within spec except the right rear toe and that is just out of the range. The front camber is within spec but there is still quite a difference between the two sides, anything I should adjust?
Is the vague feeling not enough toe? My toe is just over the minimum listed in the FAQ. The specified range for front and rear toe that Firestone uses is different than what is in the FAQ (Front Firestone - .05 to .14, FAQ .09 to 27, Rear Firestone -0.13 to 0.22, FAQ -0.27 to 0.43)
My cars specs are below --
Front
Camber LF -0.90, RF -0.20
Toe LF 0.13, RF 0.14
Cross Camber -0.70
Total Toe 0.26
Rear
Camber LR -1.28, RR -0.95
Toe LR 0.13, RR 0.26
Total Toe 0.41
Thrust Angle -0.08

Your camber readings are a bit to far apart at .7 degrees. Closer to .5 or less would be ideal. You should try to pull more positive camber in the left front. Do this by losening the lower strut bolts and pulling the top of the rotor twards you hard while you tighten them back up. That should put you closer to the right value. Have your toe (alignment) reset again because that adjustment will throw your toe - toe out.
