What gets power while the car is turned off and locked?

Well I am 90% positive I have a short somewhere in my electrical system. When my car is off and locked and gets to sit overnight, the car will act as though it has no power at all. Nothing will work or light up. If I take off the battery terminals and reconnect them she will work perfectly, but with less power (I have a voltmeter).

Anyways I need to know what runs when the car is off. I am not thinking of anything but my security light, security LED, and my stereo's security light. Please let me know what else it could be, I am blanking out!
Thanks a lot guys,
-Cyrus

Have you check if your doors are closed compeletely? It might be the source of the drain.

I've checked all the doors, battery, and fuses. Nothing seems to be wrong! I just unplugged my aftermarket alarm, and I'm hoping that's it. If it's not, I'm going to exchange my battery (thank God for Optima 3 year replacement!).

I think the fuel pump will sometimes kick in everynow and then. At least I think it's the fuel pump, heh. Ever heard that low buzzing sound coming from the rear?

Take off the door sill and underneath the little plastic piece there is a bunch of wires. Get a tester (to see if the wire is getting juice) and then check to see if that particular wire is supposed to get juice after the car is shut off.

I had this problem with my old car when I installed my radio in there. Somehow I hooked up the radio to the clock, so the clock was pulling 12 amps or something like that

Exactly, maybe your battery just isn't holding a charge. But I'll assume you've had your bettery load tested.
