Pedal feels a little less spongy, nothing hugely dramatic.

pedal is less spongy, better modulation of the brake pedal under hard driving... slightly better brake fade performance, since when everything gets really hot, the rubber lines will stretch more than they did before.

 

First off I'd like to say I'm finaly at 51 post's. Yeah. And second of all ss brake lines kick *** dude. Get them if at all possible.

not hard at all , but make sure you get some good vice grips just in case when you end up with rounded off 10mm nut that connects hard lines to rubber.
and can of PB rust buster will help too.
might invest in to some speedbleeders while you there - $40 but its well worth it
bleeding the brakes took 10 minutes total.

Some of you guys that put SS lines on may have noticed a bigger improvement not becuase of the lines, but becuase of bleeding it really well so there no air bubbles and good new fluid...especially Motul 600. Make sure you bleed once a year at least. The SS will help a bit, but i would think only really at track where your fluid is gettin really hot.

 

Exactly. You won't notice a huge difference but the pedal feel will be a better.

Don't forget to bleed the brakes if you swap brake lines.

 

who makes the best ss lines????

 

Goodridge makes an excellent brake line, they are sold by Stillen for $125. I have a set of 4 that are brand new, with bolts and all. Im looking for $100 shipped if anyone is interested, I bought them about 3 months ago from Stillen. I just never got around to installing them, email me BBaker025@AOL.com if you are interested.

PS: They are for a 4th gen

 

Man i'd buy them. But, I just dont have the money. If you want to save them until summer... I'll bu them.
