ok, here's the story.
i was on the freeway, i tried down shifting from 5th to 4th.
it goes in to 4th but....it doesn't do anything. its like 4th gear is in neutral but its not! it is in gear. well....anyways....i get off the freeway.
all gears are working except 4th.
after a few signal lights, it does not go in 1st or 2nd, only third.
so i drove all the way home taking off on 3rd gear, eating up my clutch.

so gears that are working is 3rd, 5th and Reverse.
1st and 2nd gear, it does not even go in.
4th gear, it goes in but it does not take off or anything, its like neutral.
can anyone help me??? does anyone know whats wrong!

starting to have too many problems.

 

no clunk clunk noise or any type of hard vibration on the shifter? Tick tick noise from the shifter?


from what you describe seems like your tranny is shot. I know thats not what you wanted to hear but two of your gears are not working.
