There are two people 4gens with led tails. That's really time consuming and expensive. LEDs are expensive.

Thats a joke right?

You can get a bag of 100 LEDs on ebay for 10 bucks.

In my opinion, Im not feelin the LED tail light look. Rice if you ask me.

Note the word RICE, something I finally got rid of

I don't know everywhere I looked for good LEDs they cost. Plus that thing doesn't look rice at all. It makes the lights look more luxury car like, really nice.

The really bright LED's like you would want on taillights are expensive. The el-cheapo indicator ones are a dime a dozen.

That was a great writeup.

That isn't rice...its not tacky or cheap looking. It'd be rice if you got G35 taillights and molded it to ur car, but integrating LED lighting into our stock tails is just smart.

The Maxima guys used plexi instead of circuit boards. They drilled the holes in the plexi and inserted the LEDs in the holes they rilled. Then they connected the LEDs on the back side of the plexi. IMO, I think it would look cleaner than what you see there on the Alti site.

My only question is if they had to mold the circuit board to the shape of the lights, because it looks like the LEDs bend around the edge of the light....and I would think the circuit board would break since it is so brittle

LEDs, are not a big thing in my book. Just my Opinion. I dont need LED's all over my max to make it look "cool". Ahem, like some of these maxima.org owners. Heh.

Search on Ebay for " 5mm led red "(or leds) and you will see the only guy that sells them with resistors. I believe his user name is "cwthc"
