LED tails project on 95 Altezzas - Need Feedback!!!

Since the time Araffio and 99MAXSE-L did their LED tails I got very inspired and decided to take time and do this project too.
I decided to use old Altezzas that I have on right now and do Sky-line mod later to hide few leaks they have. If that turns successful, will do that to stock tails after that as well. Right now I am at R&D/Parts Collection process and wanted to share some ideas and hear some feedback from you guys.

Pardon picture quality and my photochop skills, but you'll get the idea where I am heading.
p.s. I think using probabbly 3mm leds for inner rings.... the rest will be 5mm

when you took them apart, the plastic piece that comes off, is it smooth and does it have any pices i it?

ok, what i mean is when you took them part, the plastic oute piece that comes off is there any holes made for the lamps cause when you look at your outer tailights right now, in the corner, you see some kind of piece or something.

I did not take them apart yet so I am not really sure what you're talking about. What you see there right now in the corner is a distorted image from the sun glare when I took the picture with my camcorder, that's why quality sucks big time. But when I do take them apart I will probably be able to answer your question.

I am not fan of chrome either so that's coming after tails are ready.

Wouldn't he have to do a 97-99 conversion then? Vlad said 95-96 in his post, and I didn't think they made gen 2 altezzas for 95-96s, I might be wrong though.

The turning signal doesn't look good on the inner bottom side. Leave it the stock way in the top outer corner. Do the sykline mod with that and you'll be set

Lol, christmas tree.... I am sure it's gonna look much better when I get it done.

Conversion would be nice and then red/clears would go right in, but that's not a justifiable cost for me - car is too old and needs some body work.

BTW. I noticed mistake in the pic. The bigger circles of LEDs are parking/nighttime running lights and smaller circles are brake lights. I am still unsure with turn signals, I actually like the position but not the shape so far... because that halfcircle is bigger than brake circle..

I bet it would look nice if you alternated rings of tail light and brake light in the outside ones.

In theory it can be done, if you use relays. It was discussed a little on the Org. I thought about that too but since my knowledge in electronics is pretty limited I think taking the easy way, though did not delete this option (relay) either yet.
