Any tips on installing a rear vent passenger side glass piece? Do you wrestle it in with the seal or do you put the seal in place and then put the glass in? It seems like you get one side in, and you can't get the other side in. Is there some trick I need to know about for those of you who've done it? I'm about to just go to the glass place and have them do it.

I looked in the Chilton manual and they recommend that you have a professional do it...thanks for nothing!

The only trick I can offer is one I used to install a sliding window on a pick-up. I installed the gasket on the frame then ran some heavy nylon string around the channel where the glass goes. I set the glass in the bottom of the channel and pulled on one end of the string as I pressed the glass against the rubber seal. As I pulled the string, it moved the rubber lip to the outside of the glass.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the help, I finally got the stupid thing in after nerves of worrying that my $90 piece of glass was gonna shatter. It was tough, there is only one way to get it in and of course it was the last method I tried. Now to get everything retinted to 5%.
