Saturday my max got hit and no one stopped....i know who it is but i won't pursue it....it took damage to the corner light, bumper & fender...basically the guy was backing out of his driveway with his huge van and caught the corner of my car....he never admitted to it but since it's my NEW landlord I will not fight him for it (i don't want him to be a pain for the next 12 months that i live there)
Luckily a friend of mine & I do body work so I'll fix it up and it won't cost me much...but it still sucks to see my baby hurting like that....

Maybe you should casually mention if he knows how your car got scraped.

 

Same damage as my hit & run situation. Body shop said it was $1200 worth of damage. A friend of mine fixed it for $300 (no labor). Looks good.

 

At least you know who did it. I have no clue who hit my car. I doubt I will ever find out.

 

What's with all these hit & runs lately? It's like you have to sleep in your car to prevent this crap from happening. Anyways, mine cost $1000 to replace driver side fender and door skin.

 

Tell the guy you know he did it. If he decides to be a **** to you then report him somewhere. I bet that's what he was thinking, it's my tennant so he won't report me.

 

Oh man, I have same pain but kinda manage to live with it. My car has been into hit$runs numerous times for the past year. I have bra on now to cover somehow two fenders and got scratches and dents all around... it needs to be totally repainted and that is about $1500... don't have such money, gotta live with it

i let it slide....fock it..it'll cost me almost nothing to fix since i do it myself and i don't think it's worth to go through this....he's been ok so far as a landlord so i don't wanna mess that up.....

my fiance took my digi cam today to work but Comcast is supposed to come out and turn my cable modem on so i'll post pics tomorrow....
