Did you bend the perforated board to contour the light, or did you shape it so the board lies flat?

if you open the 97-99 tails, you will see a white reflector type piece on all 4 tails. I took them out and put my board in place of them, they were flat so no bending.

I have just purchased stock 96 tails and put them on a car yesterday night (I purchased my Max with Altezzas) and man I love it. I thought using altezzas for LED project but now I am rethinking that.
For altezzas I would need about 400 LEDs while for stockies I could get away with 200 I hope, so can save some money there too..

Hey kevlo911, did you do your blinkers and reverse too?

question: did you wire them in parallel or in series. I gues you did it in parallel since you said few LEDs went out but the rest stayed on. So that looks like a better way to go but much more job to do - a resistir for every LED.

Just want to know your opinion on that.

Thanks,
Vlad

yes there is a white lens peice in back of the lens, but i think i will take the brake light one out because it is not nessed and will only take up space.
