Possibly my tranny went out on my 2k SCed GLE
I notice my tranny is slipping on gear 2nd to 3rd........I notice that it revs and than shift on 2nd to 3rd, it's fine on 1st to 2nd. I'm really paranoid about this whole thing, it's not like I really push my car all the time, I push my car once in a blue moon. So I decided to sell my SCer and I sold it......I suppose to go to Maximumtuning this sunday to get my blower off and I'm gonna try to put factory intake air box, cat conv, and maybe exhaust and than take it to the dealer for diagnostics. My friend who was a dealer b4( whom I bought my maxima from)told me that I should be covered under Power Tehrraine warrenty......he asked me how many miles I got and I told him I only have 48700 miles on it and he told me u should def b covered under Power Tehrraine. I believe the basic warrenty is 3yr/36k bumper to bumper and 5 yr/ 60k Power Terraine.

I thought it was not part of the Powertrain for a tranny replacement. I thought that was part of the extended warranty.
If im wrong, then I still think your bigger problems are that you have a highly modified car, not sure if they are going to honor it easily. Probably going to have to fight it a bit.

I'm gonna call the Nissan dealer where I bought my Max from and than ask them. But my friend told me that Engine and Tranny should def be covered under Powertrain......so, I'm just gonn cross my finger and wait......I'm gonna put stock parts back on.......and the biggest problem I was considering is the VB mod, I spoke with Jeff @ MaximumTuning and he said that the Nissan will never know that I got VB mods done on the car.......but Im not sure though.......

I'm going to MaximumTuning to drop my car off to get my SCer remove and Jeff will check my car out to see if it really is my tranny struggling. I'm putting stock cat,air box intake so I could take it to the dealer under Power train warrenty. I'm not gonna remove my greddy cat back and I hope they won't say anything about my exhaust regarding my tranny.......

The SC is the reason for the tranny going bad. VB modds only cover 1-2 shift. That I know of there is only one person that can modd the other shift points and that is NRH.
I had 2 tranny's repalced under warrarnty for the same reason and they will not notice the VB modd, but you will end up loosing it.
I would offer someone to swap it out with you so that you can at least make a few bucks.

yeah, it would have to be the s/c. did you run a tranny cooler with it? that may not have been the problem, but many people with auto trans were having trouble once they were boosted.

No, more engine work. I'm just gonna put Injen intake in. I got phone call from dealer today and they told me that it is def. tranny so they're gonna hav to get approval from Nissan so I have to wait til they get approved from Nissan so they could order the tranny and start working on it. They said it could take up to week.
Yo, Gene I tried to reach u but u never pick up ur phone......giv me a call sometimes, Man.......

Thanx fo tha concern guys......I got a phone call from Nissan today saying that I had an extended warrenty which I didn't even know that I bought extended warrenty so everything will be covered under warrenty and since I found out that I had extended warrenty I told him about my broken driver side power seat and they said they'll take care of that also. I also get 3 days of rental car......
