Press release from Nissan:
<<CARSON, CA - RIS - Nissan Motor Corporation U.S.A. has cancelled its entire motor sports program with the exception of its Indy Racing League program.
A spokesperson for Nissan said that, "after 37 years, Nissan will have no presence in the [Sports Car Club of America] Runoffs, no contingencies, nothing."
The motor sports parts department will continue to provide parts that exist, but effective April 1, there is no budget whatsoever for research and development.>>
