Who regrets getting their ACT /any racing clutch?
I must say i kindoff regret getting my ACT now, it gets pritty anoying when doing normal driving. And now after driving my friends maxima with a stock clutch i miss my stock one. It was fun when i just got it but now it is starting to suck. Any one else regret getting their ACT or any racing clutch?

I dont regret my stageII. It only chatters once in the morning when I pull out the garage. After that is is smooth as butter. The pedal feel is fine, its almost the same if not less than stock.

I regret going back to a stock clutch. To make a long story short I pretty much was faced with either keeping an ACT clutch with a stock flywheel or going with a light weight flywheel and stock clutch....I figured that the stock clutch wasn't so bad, but after having driven on the ACT for about a year I was just used to the way the ACT grabbed. Now my OEM clutch feels like it has no personality compared to the ACT...just doesn't grab hard enough.

It's funny how just a couple of months ago everyone would be like "stay away from ACT, it'll blow your trans no matter what!!". Now people are interested in them again....
I like my ACT and I am very confident in my driving with it as well.

Great big to that. I get a little chatter when its really cold in the morning, but other than that it feels almost exactly like the stock clutch...only it doesn't slip when I boost.

I will only regret my stage 1 if it is the result of my tranny problems. If i find it wasnt because of the clutch, then i wont regret it. Theres nothing like a quick gripping clutch over the stocker. Teamed with a short throw shifter, its the best thing ive done to my car....

I love my Exedy stage 1.
I hate slipping clutches and its just easier to not slip it as much with the Exedy, its like as soon as the clutch even smells the flywheel it just wants to run at it, lol.
One thing I've learned is people either love it or hate it. It sure is funny to watch people who love it because thats all they can talk about for the longest time.

Boosting 12PSI on an ACT and Fidanza....
Love it.
One weird thing is that when it was first installed, it wouldn't grab until the pedal was almost completely out.
Within 1000 miles, it changed and now grabs 3" off the floor.

im not sure if this chatter some of you speak of is due to the driver or the disc because i have an act PP with a clutchnet clutch disc and have experienced chatter taking off maybe once in the first 1000 miles and ive had it for about 5k now and its been great. i assume its the disc because i doubt we drive any diferent and i do slip the clutch quite abit especially backing out of my driveway uphill
