PIAA Plasma Ion Yellow bulbs...

does anyone have or seen Piaa PLASMA ION YELLOW bulbs? i'm looking for yellow foglight bulbs. I heard Hella yellowstars werent all that "yellow" so i was wondering about the Piaas. any feed back would be great. thanks!

I use to have them... but on the 97. They cast a yellowish tinge on the ground but looked almost white/blue headon from certain angles.

I got em as H4 For my HEADLIGHTS ... the OUTPUT is VERY Yellow ... when U look at them ... they are Yellow from Certain Angles ... Head on ... they look like SUPER PLASMA with a Yellow "Halo" around it!!!!

Watch out with the yellow headlights!

In some states it is illegal to have yellow headlights. I remember a few cars got pulled over for having yellow or blue headlights. Just thought you might want to be careful.

had the PIAA ion crystal ones and returned them for the Super White PIaa h3's 85watt and had them ever since. The light with the ion-yellow was nasty(pinkish/yellow), IMHO i like the Hella Yellow stars(yellow-white light)alot better then the PIAA ions. But i decided against both and stayed with the super white bulbs(pure white/purplish tint) instead.

It's not the yellow color...it's the amount of tint used on the bulb. Hella and Philips "yellow" bulbs all have DOT and SAE markings...meaning they are legal, according to the federal government, for use in all 50 states.
