03 04: Got this dreaded code for knock sensor, what to do now?

Pick up of my 95 max was really sluggish and really really ****ty gas mileage so I decided to check if my ecu had any codes. To my surprise, i got a code for knock sensor. Where is the cheapest place to get one? Would performance of the car and MPG improve after replacing this? I have only got 70k miles on it.

Yes, everything will improve. I got mine, as well as many other members, off ebay for 90.

$90 to ur door, even cheaper.

0304 KS will retard your ignition timing, which will cause uneven air/fuel ratio. most likely u'll be either running too rich or lean. therefore affecting your gas mileage and performance throughout various rpm points.

ghost 0304 KS will retard ignition timing when the throttle is opened 30% or more (like me). daily driving without opening more than 30% throttle should be okay excluding the factor of gas mileage and performance.

bad 0304 KS code will probably make you lose 10-15WHP regardless modification, which it sux. i suggest replacing ASAP.

hehe i bought one already, gonna install it next week
