So when you turn on your headlights, 2 rows light up (the "dim" part) and the other 3 light up when you press the brakes? Can't you make all 5 rows light up when you press the brakes during the day?

Nice tails tho

I am in process with them now, waiting for some parts at the moment...

Hey kevlo911, they look great! Love 'em!

2 questions (not sure if you saw my other post):

1. Did you wire them parallel?

2. How did you fix boards with LEDs in place (with screws or glue)???

Thanks!!
Vlad

1.) Yes, I ran them parallel. All negatives connected, the positives brake connected together, and positive clearence lights connected. I ended up with 3 wires comming out.

2. I hot glued the boards in place, I cut them peferectly to hte white reflector peice that I took out.

WTF, Only 5 people have this mod, I was the 4th one. So how is this verypopular?

You must not have read the FAQ well enough, it clearly states:

When more than 3 people, but less than 5, do a custom modification that most people can't perform themselves and no one will do for them hence becomes "rice" or "overdone." It is impossible to argue with these people because they know that the modification is really easy and that they could do it themselves, but they don't want to lower themselves and jump on the bandwagon."

I can't remember exactly where that is stated in the maxima.org FAQ, but I have seen it in there somewhere..

I have a question, I understand light on = 3 rows and brake only = 2 rows and spoiler but can you explain the last pic in your set of pictires. Because you are hitting the brke and there are 5 rows on.

By the way very nice look for the 4th gen max.

Umm i know how to add but if you look at pic #2 there are only 2 rows on while he is on the brake and in pic #3 there are 5 rows on while he is on the brake. I am going to guess that in pic #3 the lights were on in order to get the 5 rows, but that is something that kevlo911 can clear up.

Yeah you're right, Kev, there ARE only 5 currently with them done. If I can get a bit more funds, then maybe I can finish MINE and become not only #5, but the first 3rd gen!

But with the way things are going, I'll probably end up being #5,000...
