Headlight thefts

New to web site and I was wondering if anyone else has had a problem with their headlights being stolen?

haha....check the 5th gen forum... yes maximas are popular among some other cars that get their lights stolen...

Just today I saw this max that I see every single day parked by my job...yesterday it was fine & today...one headlight missing (a lot of body damage) the other just hanging on one bolt....the thief either had to run or got caught because the other headlight is damaged but still hanging in there...

thieves target the 5th gens that came with stock HID's because they know for sure they're there, even if the car is parked with the lights off.

I have HID's in my 4th gen. U think its worth insuring my headlights?
most thieves wouldn't drive around looking for a 4th gen as a target, because they know the stock bulbs (what most people have, obviously) are not HID... unless they saw you on the road with your lights on, and followed you. that's another story. less likely though, I would think.

Not to mention 4th gens headlights are not as easy to steal as 5th gens

Sam, he's from Jamaica, Queens...gotta represent the thug in him!

but yes our HIDs are incredibly easy to steal-a reason why I don't frequent ghetto areas like I used to
