not sure of the name ... its the thing thats mounted on the radiator that sux in air ..
friend drives an mx6 and he took that off .. and he got a laundry piping and he extended it and it goes all the way rite under the fender ...

like ramair let me know ... good idea or no ..

I've got a setup like that....

I took 2 1/2" rigid vacumn hose and ran it from under the drivers side nose all the way to my HKS filter. It does pump a bit more cooler air into the vicinty of the filter. It's not gonna result in a huge though, but it is a good idea. You can get the hose from Home Depot or Sears. The vacumn hose works much better than dryer hose because it won't collaspe or fold over when you rub it on the curb. I'm still trying to figure out a way to make a scoop to put on the hose.

friend drives an Impreza

has the scoops told him to take off the coverin so air actually gets in .. adn to somehow get a hosing to the scoops

he says not worth the time
not gonna ma ke a big deal
