Poor guy in a yellow Boxter S was behind me today as we were on the on-ramp to the freeway, i couldnt help notice him kissing my ***, must have been the 6 inch tip, but anyway i m creapin to the front of the line and i give him a respectful little rev, not a complete stop for both of us from a 3mph roll i take off and he is on me till about 4000 rpm everyone knows v-tech on the vq30de kicks in at 3 and 4000 rpm,lol, i hit 4g's and from there all he saw were my hazzzards.OUT

What pulley size are you using?
How does the weapon R intake work with the sc?
What are lyons headers and how might we go about getting them?
Have you worked on your engine internals running 10 lbs of boost?
Have you worked on your auto tranny?

in that post he lost to a J30.. but the J30 runs 8s in 60 and the S runs what 5's? and in that J30 post he says that he has Vq30DE, intake, exhaust and cat converter?

so was that race before he got the Supercharger? i am confused.. help me out here Bry.. how do you see this one?

Sounds a little fishy to me, but we could just be over-reacting.
But he still never answered the question of how you use a weapon R intake when you have a supercharger?
Usually when people get parts on this forum (especially a SC they mention it to EVERYONE!!)

But I hope we are just being critical.

I just got off the phone with Vortech and according to them the 3.33 pulley doesn't yeild 10 PSI but again Bry.. lets not be judgemental..

also interesting note here Bry..

he is still running his stock Auto Tranny and i know Mehran in DC blew two stock Auto Tranny's on a STOCK pulley and other bolt ons...

he is running 10 PSI without an intercooler and his engine is not running lean at all..

I just raced an F-16 down the runway.....it was close but I think my 2-3 shift did it as I started to pull. Boy that Mobil 1 must have added 1000 hp at least b/c after 100 all I saw was his cockpit....in my rear view mirror

WOW I didn't even notice that! VTEC? In an Infinity? Now that's a new one. I guess when he was getting the SC, custom headers, specially made Weapon R intake, etc ... somewhere along the line he did an engine swap, but he just forgot to mention a small thing like that.

It's VTEC not VTECH.... I believe that's a Phone/computer company.... and you can't run a 3.33 pulley on 10 lbs. of boost. and headers are not available for the VQ...and where is your WeponsR intake located at? Oh ma'bad...you're a player.... I git it now!

ok im back, well i better give some answers huh. when i raced the j i had my i/e/rt cat and some extra weight and lost. That was one year ago. weapon r is on my summary because its just there. everyone knows you cant use a filter with a supercharger! I have about 1000 miles on my transmission wuith my 333 pulley nothing yet, I shift manually there for i said M thanks.

But you have to use a filter with a supercharger (K&N is in the sc kit)... it just depends on how you route it, and I was curious on how you did it.

Your last post states that then how come you gave "props" to weapon r? If you aren't using a filter with your s/c then what are you using and where did you route it to?

im back again and i see more questions. First lyons headers y pipe and exhaust packaged deal about $1400.00, mostly for making the exhaust manifold a.k.a. Header. He said something about a short angle or short something i forget, about them. Regarding the V2 question i think you guys beat it to hell i cant change your mind, The V2 package filter K&N is being used. Thank you!

But real sticklers can tell. The Boxster S has 3 openings in the front airdam(left, right and center). The standard Boxster only has two(left and right).

Not that I really care either way but you can only have one of two transmissions. If you don't have an automatic, you can't have a 4-speed. Unless you have some wierd adversion to using the other gear.

Damn man.. U took that personal. I havn't been here in a few months and damn I come back and I got someone on my back already. your story may be Ok who knows. I just havn't seen it yet. In reality, the Boxter S will rip a auto max, Even a S/C. so if your 4spd took it out good for U. I'm about to add a 6th gear to my 2K. U know of any good shops that I can talk to about this?

One more thing dude. Last I checked. Stillen said Useing anything above 9lbs boost can bust fuel lines. so if U R running 10lbs thats really good. Just don't end up like that fool who blew his max in the garage when he left the bottle warmer on.
