I know this topic has been covered before but I have searched it on the BBS and did not find anything at all.

I am looking into cleaning my car's throttle body as it now has 120K miles on it and needs a cleaning. Some time ago, someone on this forum had published a detailed article on how to do this using distilled water and some kind of solvent. They had even mentioned which vacuum line to use to gain access.

If you guys have any recollection of this article, please email me or reply to this post.
Thanks

What I used to do before I had NOS(its the best cleaner).
Get a can of thottle body or carberator(sp) cleaner and either spray into the manifold(in between the intake and the mas air) do not spray before it. OR take the big black hose from your master brake cylander and spray like half the can in the hose. You will have to keep the car running by reving the engine a little. This will clean everything from the manifold to the muffler. You can see all the xhit come out the tailpipe..
