Two-Tone or NOT!!!!....opinions welcome..
ok...here's the deal...my car is as shown:
Now...here's the situation, I've been planning on repainting the car this spring...and was going to do it myself and use the opportunity to learn a bit about painting the car. Well, my mother in her infinite wisdom says..."you should keep the car the same way it is now" Keep in mind that she is not the first and likely won't be the last person to say so. I can honestly say that I've gotten more compliements about this max than my others that were one solid color.
So now...I'm asking opinions here...also if any of the photoshop experts are around...see if you can take some of the pics from above or my site and somehow tie in the green/tan...I'm open to all ideas...
Let the flames begin

so is it a 95 or 97?
95 frame with 97 engine and trans, with 97 front and rear conversions? is that accurate?
and yes, one color please..
how can anyone think the 2 tone thing looks good?

NYCe...
You're absolutely correct in your analysis....
looks like one color is the clear winner so far...but that Black mess has got to GO!!!...I may stick with the beige or something close...don't feel like changing the entire color of the car..cause that means I gotta paint s h i t I really don't wanna paint... myself...being a completely lazy ****!

Camo-max !! Looks like a hunting mobile ! A black/white/gray camoflouge battle max....you know what I'm sayin Nupe, when you get paint make it something original. Its scary decisions, but you do need to get that car painted Painting the kit would be cool I loved that one paint job the blue max with a silver kit, anyone remember him?

I would do all beige with a black bodykit, but I see where people who like the two-tone are coming form.
BUT if you want to do two-tone...
I would make it so that the black is equal length across the top of the car. This means that instead of the whole bumper being black, only a portion the size of the roof would be. Same thing for the hood and trunk. Find the thinnest part of the top of your car, and do a strip that size fown the top of the car. Then if you want paint the side strips and gas lid black. It will look like this 6th Gen - I think it looks sweet.

your car looks like my S13 with silvia front end conversion. i'm anxious to have it all painted. however, i need to finish the suspension, brakes and build the motor before the final bodywork and paint. the bad part is cops always follow me around b/c it looks shady. lol i say stick with pebble beige all around including the bodykit. black body kits are rice =P

i say take two very popular colors (black and blue or black and green but not beige. Beige can look good but if u gonna paint car, dont waste it on beige. Paint hood, trunklid, spoiler, and kit in black and the rest of the car in sky blue or something.

How come they made 2 kinds of gold, Sunlit Sand, and Pebble Beige, Anyways I think u should stick with the gold since your interior is not black, and it would cost a crap load to buy the interios

Disagree two-tone looks tacky no matter how it is done, it can never look good, even an expert can't make it look good no matter what colors they use.
It also looks like the person can't make up there mind what color to have their car between the two colors.
Good luck though, personally no one with good taste would do this to their car.
Feel free to flame.
