i was on my way to take my girlfriend home in Plano, I was on park going toward coit. Just minding my own businese and disscusing about the meet at Starbucks with my girlfriend, all suddenly i heard someone's rev! i looked around i didn't see any cars, besides this BMW, i was like "naw.....can't be him", he is about 35-40 years old with some woman on the passenger side. They passed me, then i saw the passenger side window rolled down, and his girlfriend/wife has her hand outside of the window waving at me, and gave me a Thumb down. So i got up rite next to him, and dropped to 2nd gear, waiting for his move. He made the move, so we went from 40/45mph to 95/100mph. i pulled about 2 cars on him, then i rolled down my window and gave him a middle finger. He made a quick U-turn after the race, lol. i know, i know that wasn't nacessory but, she started it! Sorry no Videos to show you guys, because Sx7r wasn't with me. blame it on him! LOL!~

Good going! Thumbs down? WTF?! I hate that crap! I had a similiar experience with the thumbs down thing, but too bad I couldn't do anything about it. It was when I was stock and this jerk in a Mustang(old model 5.0) gave me a thumbs down. If only I run into that sucker again.

However, at least that guy was around my age. I'm surprised to hear you say it was some middle age couple and a woman, nonetheless, that gave you the thumbs down. Good kill! Way to show those cocky bastards.

Something like that happened to me this weekend...heading to the Mall and this couple in this souped up Miata pull up beside me at the light. He rev's and I think to myself "oh please". So I rev also and the cocky little bastard holds his hands over his ears to signify that my car is loud (I can't help that) and he turns to his girl and laughs. He Laughs, his girl laughs and what the hell, I laugh. I ask him if his "girlfriends" car can hang, and he says lets go. I said "okay". The light turns green and I take off getting traction but still smoking alittel through 2nd and catching 3rd and Im up to 80 ( he is way back ) already and tap the brakes and slow back down to 45. Im done with the race and he pulls up next to me and looks over and gives me the finger so I give him a "the pinkie finger wiggle" and start laughing. He makes a hard right at the next street screeching his tires. Oh well. hehehe

it was probably a 325 or a 318 with a badge, i cant really say because i didnt see the car. This means questionalbility for you to know what an m3 looks like comes up. Im not doubting it was an m3 that you beat. Probably just the Driver stock m3's run high 13's low low 14's.

Also i heard you have a 3.5L VQ from the pathfinder engine in your car.... whats that about.

M3 M3 M3 M3

i konw for fact it was a M3, cuz he has the M3 crap on the trunk, spoiler, 18inch M3 rimz, M3 ground effect.

VQ35DE, itz not done yet, i can't find a used VQ35de block.

Cumalot: don't worry, he must get punked out alot by the Z28s and SSs, that is why he is taking it out on the Jap cars. He can't hang with the big boys! LOL~

you do know that spoilers and kits and badges can be placed on. But ill give you the benefit of the doubt and say it was an M3... M3's dont come with 18in rims.

The same thing happened to me with a old 5.0. The pasenger rolled down his window and gave me a thumbs down. I know it could have probably beat me with ease since it looked like it had mods, but what's the thumbs down for? Ignorant fool.

M3 badge is $28 from BMW dealer.
Spoiler and M aero is optional on all 3 series.
Stock M3 rims are 17". Btw I am just curious you can tell a rim is 18" while rolling? wow.

Whatever

- M3 is better on a road course. RWD, makes power after 5000rpm, etc. Maxima is still nice, but I'm sure you all realize what I am saying.
- I love my Max. I simply admire and respect the M3 (but definitely not that stupid driver or his moronic lady-friend).

where did you get the idea that it makes power after 5000 rpm??? it ain't no VTEC
a stock M roadster(same engine as 97+ M3), makes 180lb-ft of torque at the wheels from a mere 2500rpm all the way to 6500rpm, while peaking at 4000 with 220lb-ft.
