A'pexi Filters for Intake
Expensive, but supposedly they last 30K to 50K miles and never need to be oiled. Also claim to have a better design than traditional cone filters.
Are they worth it? Anyone seen HP gains over a traditional cone filter?

I have this filter and can't notice any difference except that it feels well made. I have used this for around 30k. Mine is dirty but I don't know if I should keep using it or get another filter. Judging that this filter is 3 times more expensive,I don't feel the benefits outweigh the costs. Don't get me wrong, I would get this again if only the price came down. I'm going with k&n next time.

I like mine alright. Biggest difference I saw was that it sounded better then the cheapo apc cone I replaced it with. Maybe....maybe a bit better top end but I have no real way to back that up. The cost did not bother me when I first bought it, but now that it needs replaced I don't know what I was thinking getting a $60 filter.
